I want to make someone smile from my art. That is my passion and motivation for this work.

  • I have designed and created over 1,700 original artworks and company logos
  • Based in Toyohashi, Japan with solo exhibitions in New York & Ichiku kubota museum
  • Has performed for Prince Akishinonomiya (Emperor’s son)and Princess Akishinonomiya
  • Full member of Japanese Design Calligraphy Association
  • Chunichi Calligraphy contest Judge
  • Open college teacher at Aichi University
  • Living School teacher

[Calligraphy Design Awards]

2004 ‘Outstanding Performance’ award at Japanese National Calligraphy Design competition. Winning design was company logo for ‘Houraisen Sake Brewing Company’
2005 ‘Grand Prix’ award at Japanese National Calligraphy Design Competition. Winning design was company logo for ‘Shugura Sake Company’.
2005 ‘Outstanding Performance’ award at Japanese National Calligraphy Design competition. Winning design was company logo for ‘Ginpou Sake’
2006 ‘Outstanding Performance’ award at Japanese National Calligraphy Design competition. Winning design was company logo for ‘Fei Sake’
2015 ‘Toyohashi City Cultural Promotion’ award, for services towards promoting Toyohashi’s cultural standing within Japan over a long period of time.
2016 ‘Selected’ award at Japanese National Calligraphy Design Competition. Winning design was goods logo for ‘NVIDIA’.
